Forged By Fire

The book I read was "Forged By Fire" by, Sharon M. Drapper. This book was about a boy named Gerald who lived with his mom. Although one day his mom couldn't take care of him because of her drug addiction so his aunt did. Gerald loved his aunt but she then died. Gerald mom came back after years with his little sister Angel. Gerald was so cognizant of her  sister he would protect her from her father Jordan Sparks. He would protect her because when Gerald went to live with them after her aunt died. Jordan would hit Angel and Gerald, but Gerald could take the hit but he did not like Jordan touching Angel.

The book "Forged By Fire" is the second book from series. The first book is "Tears of Tiger" and the third book is "Darkness Before Dawn." All these book are really good and mostly teen fiction. Although these book teach you a good lesson towards the end. The book Forged By Fire tought me that child abuse isn't good and that you should tell someone if it's happening to you. Just like Gerald told the police and got help. No should be abused for no reason, no one should get hit for any reason just because the person is angry, or for any other reason. Thats the lesson I learned from this book.
